JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Project Sales Engineer:

  • Provides modification/repair/replacement recommendations and documents these recommendations so the customer and the operations department understand what is required.  
  • The individual must be competent in their understanding of mechanical systems. Able to survey mechanical systems, identify problems and propose cost-effective solutions in a timely manner.  Understands prospect’s needs and problems. Determines repair, modification and/or replacement requirements to provide prospects with solutions to problems. Interpret drawings, equipment, and job conditions.  
  • They must qualify prospects, makes effective sales presentations, answers questions and objections in a proficient and responsible manner. Aggressively manages quotes to close sales. 
  • Effectively represent the company’s interests to outside agents to maximize profits.  Identifies prospects in assigned market. Promptly follow up on leads and referrals. Establish customer rapport and identify needs. 
  • Understands the customer’s cost to own, operate and maintain facilities.  Able to translate that understanding into proposals and sales that will enhance customer’s facility while reducing long-term owning and operating costs.  
  • Maintains an active backlog of quotes to assure booking goal is consistently met. 

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Engineering with three to five years of experience.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install HVAC and related equipment as assigned. Assume day to day coordination of projects as assigned to assure contractual commitments are met in a timely, cost effective manner.

Job Description:

The individual must keep up to date with technical knowledge regarding equipment, concepts, and installation techniques. Have excellent communication skills for customer relationships as well as with co-workers/manager. Able to manage time to effectively and deal with unexpected changes, i.e. service calls. Able to build and maintain rapport and positive working relations with employees, customers, vendors and other outside agents. Effectively represent company’s interests when required and yet maintain the confidentiality of information regarding the operations of the company, customers or vendors and the proprietary technology, methods and know-how acquired related to the job.

Education & Experience:

Three to five years of HVAC Experience in the field and/or computer background for programming.

Job Description:

The C.A.R.E. position is one that performs a customer service based function to ensure long term relationships with our client base. The outgoing individual must immediately advise manager of customer complaints discovered through the C.A.R.E. program in order to expedite resolution, and to assure and maintain long term relationships. Ability to recognize the relationship between good performance, customer satisfaction, and sales opportunities. Understand sales objectives and promote upgrading and new business by continuously reporting sales leads arising from the C.A.R.E. program. The detail-oriented individual informs the Operations Manager of their schedule and completed interviews of clients. Individual must maintain C.A.R.E. schedules, files and reports. Must be able to build and maintain rapport and positive working relationships with internal and external contacts.

Education & Experience:

Three to five years of customer service experience is preferred. HVAC experience would be preferred but not necessary as this is not a sales position.

Provide hands-on job site installation as required.

Prepare projections of the purchases of materials, supplies and facility maintenance costs in support of annual planning. Assist with the ‘logistics’ of providing materials & supplies to job sites.
